TERMS & CONDITIONS
Introduction
Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully. By placing an order for the products and services that we offer, you will be bound by these terms of sale. These terms apply to any conference, event, product, service or activity organised by Metropolitan Events Live Ltd trading as FUTURE PropTech, whether in partnership with third parties or solely. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between Metropolitan Events Live Ltd trading as FUTURE: PropTech (hereby referred to as “The Organiser”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09234637, and with its registered office at Fourth Flr, Warwick House, 65-66 Queen Street, London, England, EC4R 1EB and VAT number [GB 229 2194 06], and the Registered Delegates named on the Booking Form (“hereby referred to as “The Delegate/s” or “you” and/or “your”) (together, the “Parties”) in connection with your delegate ticket and/or sponsorship package and attendance at, the event specified in the Order (the “Event”).
Any queries regarding the Event or the Ticket Terms and Conditions, including any special access requirements, should be sent via email to your contact at FUTURE PropTech prior to you purchasing any tickets.
Booking and Payment
To confirm your participation and/or sponsorship at FUTURE PropTech, all payments for delegate tickets must be completed online or when requested can also be paid by invoice. All invoices & payments are subject to the Refund Policy stated below.
Any other forms of payment such (but not limited to) as bank cheques, e-cheques, credit notes, etc will not be accepted.
All online payments or invoices must be paid in full prior to the date of the event otherwise entry will be denied.
We reserve the right to refuse your participation at the event if payment is not received in full prior to the dates stated in these terms and conditions.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details including in particular in respect of your contact details (which we will use to contact you from time to time and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions).
Completing the order signifies your acceptance of these Ticket Terms and Conditions.
Refund Policy
Tickets are 100% non-refundable however they can be transferred to another person. To complete the name change you will need to access your Eventbrite account, details of which can be found on your ticket (which is automatically emailed to all registered delegates upon purchase).
The Delegates alone (not the Organiser) is responsible for completing the name change. However if your require assistance or have a query please contact us at [email protected]
Cancellation by The Organiser
In the case of cancellation of the event by The Organiser, the Delegate will be refunded any amounts paid prior to the cancellation.
Other costs which the sponsoring company may wish to bear such as but not limited to travel, hotel accommodation, additional marketing, staffing and other related costs will not be refunded by the organiser Metropolitan Events Live Ltd trading as FUTURE PropTech.
In the case of cancellation because of a force majeure event, please see our Limitation of Liability below.
Limitation of liability and Force Majeure
The Organiser undertakes to carry out all services set out in these terms and conditions in accordance with professional standards and practices and the regulations in force, except in cases of force majeure.
The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by the Delegate as a result of the cancellation of the Event due to circumstances beyond the Organisers reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, industrial disputes, riots, failure of the transport or utility network, malicious damage, pandemic, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, flood, fire, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
“Force Majeure” also means any health, climate, economic, political or social situation at the local, national or international level: (i) which could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of entering into the participation contract, (ii) which is beyond the control of the parties, and (iii) which precludes the performance of the parties’ obligations, and, in particular, the holding of the event, or which poses a risk of disturbances likely to seriously affect the organisation and the smooth running of the event or the safety of persons and property.
In such an event, The Organiser shall be entitled so long as the circumstances continue to cancel the Event or alternatively postpone the Event until a later date. In either case, The Organiser shall offer alternative venues and dates for the event. All delegate tickets will be carried forward to these new dates. In addition, the Contractual Agreement shall continue but might be varied as necessary.
Notwithstanding the above, the Organiser shall not be liable to the Delegate in respect of any loss which the Delegate may incur as a result of the cancellation or suspension of the Event and shall not be required to repay any payments paid prior to the date of cancellation or suspension of the Event.
Admission requirements
Persons under the age of 18 may not be admitted to the event, except with the Organiser’s prior written authorisation.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or to have expelled, temporarily or permanently, any Participant whose presence, conduct or behaviour threatens the image, peace or safety of the event and/or of the other Participants and/or of the Organiser and/or the integrity of the site.
In such case, the Participant will not be reimbursed the cost of the tickets.
To gain admission to the event Delegates must show an admission pass, which the Organiser shall issue free of charge or for consideration in accordance with its own procedures.
The distribution, reproduction or sale of admission passes in order for any person other than the Participant to derive a profit therefrom is strictly forbidden and may be liable to prosecution.
Due to the international nature of the event, Participants shall:
- Ensure that their participation is neutral in terms of political, ideological or religious expression;
- Not create disturbances (visual, audial, olfactory or of any other nature) to the organisation of the event, the other Participants, whether or not in neighbouring stands, or the public, either at their stand, in the advertising space assigned to them within the venue or in the vicinity of the event.
Otherwise, the Organiser reserves the right to impose penalties, including refusing admission to the event.

Safety and Security
We comply with all health and safety requirements set out by UK Law. Whilst a reasonable level of security is provided by us the event organisers, you are responsible for ensuring your own safety and security whilst attending the Event. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you.
Filming And Photography
We may, at our discretion, choose to photograph, film, broadcast or record the Event. By attending any of our events, you grant us an irrevocable license to use and sub-license the use of your name, voice, likeness, image and any contribution made by you at or to the Event in any and all media (whether now known or hereinafter invented) throughout the world and in perpetuity.
You must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the Event if you do not consent to the use of your name, voice, likeness, image and/or contribution. All such notices must be sent to [email protected]
On the basis that other Event attendees may not consent to the use of their name, voice, likeness, image and/or contribution, we are unable to permit you to photograph, film, broadcast or record the Event without our express prior approval.
Use Of Information
We may share the information provided by you to us, including via your Booking Form, with our employees, officers, representatives and/or sub-contractors in connection with the administration of the Event and to ensure your notified requirements (if any) are met. All such information shall be retained for 72 months from the date of the Event.
In addition, your job title and organisation will be included on a delegate list, which will be available to all attendees at the Event; and your information will be shared with Event sponsors/partners if a) you attend a session given by a sponsor /partner and/or b) your badge is scanned by a sponsor. This will enable them to follow up with presentations or relevant information on products or services which they believe may be of interest to you.
Miscellaneous
Advertising
The Organiser reserves the exclusive right to post advertising and other marketing materials and operate promotions in the venue where the event is held and in the immediate surrounding area. All forms of advertising are strictly forbidden, with the exception of advertising that uses the media defined below, the advertising spaces that the Organiser assigns and the advertising materials displayed within the Exhibitor’s stand. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, the Organiser may remove such advertising at any time without prior notice.
Participants shall not in any form whatsoever display products or services or advertise companies or businesses that are not participants, without the Organiser’s prior written authorisation.
Furthermore, the distribution of leaflets, brochures, flyers or documents of any type for promotional or any other purposes is strictly limited within the event venue and the immediate surrounding area and is subject to the Organiser’s prior authorisation. Participants shall not, in any manner whatsoever, advertise any practitioner or establishment that is a member of a regulated profession for which the national and official organisation that represents the profession prohibits advertising.
Unfair competition and parasitic business practices
Delegates formally undertake not to engage in activities that are identical or similar to those conducted in the event venue, the immediate surrounding area or in any other exhibition area that the Organiser may designate, in particular, in places such as hotels or other sites external to said event, during the period of the event.
Accordingly, Delegates in particular undertake not to directly or indirectly draw any other Participant away from any exhibition area for the purpose of presenting any of its products and/or services that are within the scope of the event.
The Organiser reserves the right to have any breach of this provision evidenced by any witness sworn officer, to have the relevant Participant pay the costs associated therewith and to initiate any legal action enabling it to assert its rights.
Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another organisation, provided that this will not affect your rights or our obligations to you. You may not transfer, assign, sub-licence, sub-contract, divest or otherwise deal with your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without our prior written consent.
Applicable Law And Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by U.K law.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual terms). However, if you are a consumer and are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
We reserve the right to refuse you entry to the Event, or subsequently remove you from the Event, where you fail to comply with the Ticket Terms and Conditions.
